A good way to bid the day farewell is to enjoy a sunset from high up, perceiving the scent of the city and tasting the most sophisticated drinks in an idyllic setting. Behind the counter, everything is ready to make every cocktail unique for each visitor.<\/strong> Few places understand the ideal composition of the White Russian like this terrace does, which seems to be a starting point towards the city’s brilliant future.<\/p>\n

But Madrid doesn’t only offer its finest cocktails high up. By foot on Echegaray street, right at Barrio de las Letras<\/strong>, you can find the city’s ultimate challenge to the best cocktail bars in the world. The renowned mixologist Diego Cabrera, considered a reference in the industry, has just opened the stylish Salm\u00f3n Gur\u00fa<\/a><\/span> <\/strong>(Calle Echegaray, 21). Another place with fancy cocktails is Cock<\/a><\/span> <\/strong>(Calle La Reina, 16), close to De Diego. This bar with British gentlemen’s club look hides some of the best spirits inside, as well as the most original recipes to make the experience unforgettable.<\/p>\n

For those young at heart, there’s nothing better than a free night out at Malasa\u00f1a. You won’t regret it.<\/p>\n

During the day, we suggest a healthier way to mitigate the challenging summer heat in Madrid: delicious ice cream. Madrid has a broad range of ice-cream shops that will leave you wanting to try all of their unique, handmade flavors.<\/p>\n

A great place to start a refreshing ice-cream shop route through the city is La Romana<\/a><\/span> <\/strong>(Calle San Bernardo, 96). In addition to ice creams, they also sell waffles and cookies. And if you’re a fan of traditional flavors at a reasonable price, don’t hesitate to get lost in the variety of refreshing ice creams from Palazzo<\/strong> (Puerta del Sol, 11), with many shops scattered throughout the city.
